Follow You Home

Ahead of a guest post by Mark Edwards tomorrow, here’s my review of Follow You Home.

Another chilling page-turner from Mark Edwards! I was completely gripped by the story of Laura and Daniel wondering what on earth had happened to them that they couldn’t talk about and that was tearing them apart. Not only were they completely traumatised, but terrifying things start happening to them when they get home – and to people they know. Who has followed them home, how and why? Mark Edwards really knows how to create a creepy atmosphere in his books and builds up the tension to the point where you read with growing sense of fear. The book is full of unexpected twists as it races towards a dramatic finale. Just when you think it’s all over, there is one final twist!

I think what makes Mark Edwards’ books so scary is that you feel the things that happen to his characters are believable – unlikely, I would hope, but possible! He is a great suspense thriller writer and this book is definitely one I recommend.

What it’s about:

It was supposed to be the trip of a lifetime, a final adventure before settling down. After a perfect start, Daniel and Laura’s travels end abruptly when they are thrown off a night train in the middle of nowhere. To find their way back to civilisation, they must hike along the tracks through a forest…a haunting journey that ends in unimaginable terror. Back in London, Daniel and Laura vow never to talk about what they saw that night. But as they try to fit back into their old lives, it becomes clear that their nightmare is just beginning…
