My thoughts
Just finished this which is my book group read for this month – so a brief review just in case any of them are reading this before we discuss it. Fabulous! I was totally immersed in the life of Douglas Petersen and his family. Brilliant portrait of a marriage and a family over around 30 years. Poignant, insightful but lots of humour too (the sunburn!) – highly recommend.
