I’m delighted to be able to share a short video from Janet Smyth, Children’s and Education Programme Director at the Edinburgh International Book Festival. As well as lots for adults, there are loads of events for children and families too. In the video Janet talks about some of the exciting events coming up next month including a debate on just what is Young Adult Fiction. She explains what illustrator in residence Alex T Smith will be getting up to, mentions just some of the writers attending, such as Judith Kerr and Julia Donaldson, and there’s even talk of trying to break a world record!
