Christmas At the Little Cornish Isles @PhillipaAshley #giveaway @AvonBooksUK

I have the most lovely giveaway for you today, so lovely that I am very disappointed that I can’t enter myself! You have the chance to win all these lovely goodies in the picture above, courtesy of the publishers Avon Books. I know it’s a maybe bit early for Christmas books but you can always keep it till nearer the time. If you are the lucky winner you can choose to receive the book part of the prize as either a bound proof or an e-book.

This is the first in a new series by Phillipa Ashley and if, like me, you enjoyed the Cornish Cafe series, I’m sure you’ll be looking forward to reading this series too. If you’re not lucky enough to win the giveaway, you can order a copy online here. The paperback version will be released in November.

So what’s the book about?

Christmas has arrived on the Cornish Isles of Scilly, bringing mistletoe, surprises and more than a sprinkle of romance . . . Fans of Poldark and Carole Matthews will love this brand-new festive read from the author of the bestselling Cornish Café series.

For Maisie Samson, this Christmas is going to be different. After years working in a busy Cornish pub, she’s moved back to quiet Gull Island where she grew up, to help her parents run the family inn.

But even though she can’t wait for the festive season to arrive, Maisie cannot shake the memories of what happened to her last Christmas – the day she lost everything. She keeps herself busy, setting up the tree and hanging mistletoe ready for her first proper family Christmas in years.

Until a new arrival to the island walks into her bar and changes everything. Australian backpacker Patrick is looking for a job for the low season. When Maisie takes him on, she doesn’t expect him to last the week, but to her surprise Patrick is the perfect fit. Charming and handsome, could Maisie allow herself to hope that she and Patrick could be more than just colleagues?

As Christmas approaches, Maisie finds herself dreading the spring, when Patrick is due to leave. With the help of a little Christmas magic, can Maisie get the happily ever after she always dreamed of?

For your chance to win these lovely prizes, click the giveaway link below where you will find a variety of different ways to enter. This is a UK only giveaway and you can enter up til midnight on Sunday 24th September. I will contact the winner within 24 hours and your prize will be send directly from the publishers. Good luck!

There was snow on the ground here in 2010 although it didn’t actually snow on the day. I’d love to go to Lapland too.

What a lovely giveaway. I live in Cornwall so we never see much snow 😞. But then it’s Cornwall so there are other benefits😁

I did wonder about snow in Cornwall. But it is a very beautiful county!

I absolutely LOVE anything to do with Cornwall, it’s a beautiful part of the world 😍 This is a great giveaway 👍 For Christmas though, I’d bypass England altogether and definitely go somewhere warm. The Canary islands are said to be pleasant that time of year, so maybe there 😉

I’d go to the Bavarian Alps. Guaranteed snow, beautiful scenery, little Christmas markets and the Germans know how to really do a traditional Christmas!

If I went away for Christmas I’d like to go to a cosy, country cottage with an open fire.

    Well, I cannot participate as I don’t live in the UK… 😦 Pity…

Oh I’m sorry about that but it’s all to do with postage costs. I do sometimes have international giveaways so keep looking out for those.
