I love sitting in the summerhouse in my garden. Since we live by the sea, it is often breezy and too chilly to sit outside even on a sunny day. But in the summerhouse, it is sheltered and warm. I can hear the birds singing and the sound of the sea while I’m reading. So when I heard that the title of Daisy James’ new book is The Summerhouse of Happiness, I offered to be involved with the cover reveal. Daisy herself has a summerhouse which sounds rather lovely as it’s peppermint and green. Without further ado, here is the gorgeous summery cover.
Isn’t it pretty? Now for a glimpse at what the book’s about.
Join perfume maestro, Gabbie Andrews, in her cream-painted summerhouse as she creates personalised fragrances to uplift the spirits and sprinkle a little bit of summer happiness around the village of Oakley.
Sounds rather appealing doesn’t it? If you think so too, you can now pre-order the book (which will be published by HQ Digital on 31st May) by clicking here.
Daisy James is a Yorkshire girl transplanted to the north east of England. She loves writing stories with strong heroines and swift-flowing plotlines. When not scribbling away in her peppermint-and-green summerhouse (garden shed), she spends her time sifting flour and sprinkling sugar and edible glitter. She loves gossiping with friends over a glass of something pink and fizzy or indulging in a spot of afternoon tea – china plates and teacups are a must.
A huge thank you, Joanne, for sharing my cover reveal day! Love Daisyxx

ooh, i’m so jealous–a summer house–really? and the sounds of the sea. i do miss that–but not the cold wind. oh, wait a minute–i still have the cold wind here in NW Indiana. but no summer house. In any case, yes, i do love that cover–it conjures a lovely feel to it.
