Around this time, many book bloggers start sharing their Top Ten reads of the year. But I’m not going to do that, I just can’t! There have been too many wonderful books this year that I haven’t managed to whittle it down to a Top Ten or anywhere near it really. And of course, there are still a few weeks of 2019 to go. So what I’m going to do instead is a post about my favourite books of each quarter, beginning today with books I read or blogged about in January to March. These are books which have stayed with me, have had wonderful characters, exciting storylines, have moved or thrilled me in some way. If you click the link below each book cover, you will be able to read my review.

When All Is Said – Anne Griffin

Don’t You Forget About Me – Mhairi McFarlane

Dirty Little Secrets – Jo Spain

The Six Loves of Billy Binns – Richard Lumsden

The Flight of Cornelia Blackwood – Susan Elliot Wright

Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them. Let me know if any of my favourites are your favourites too. Look out for Part 2, April to June, next week when I will reveal another seven books on my top reads list for 2019
I like the quarterly idea. I don’t know how I’ve missed this first set! I will check them out 🙂
