My favourite books of 2019 – part 4 – October to December #topreads @jojomoyes #LindaGillard @catherineisaac_ @lucindariley @marielaval1 @belinda_missen @juleswake

Welcome to the last of my posts featuring some of my favourite books which I’ve read in 2019. As I mentioned in previous weeks, I just found it impossible to narrow it down to a Top Ten so am featuring my top reads from each quarter. You can read about my first six choices from January to March here, my seven choices for April to June here and my five choices for July to September here. Today I’m adding seven books which I really enjoyed in the last quarter of the year, including three Christmas books. I know there is still a week to go but I am now reading some 2020 releases so they may make the list next year! Click the book title under each cover to read my review.

The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes

The Memory Tree by Linda Gillard

Messy Wonderful Us by Catherine Isaac

The Love Letter by Lucinda Riley

Bluebell’s Christmas Magic by Marie Laval

One Week ‘Til Christmas by Belinda Missen

Notting Hill in the Snow by Jules Wake

So over the course of four posts, I have shared 25 of the books I have particularly enjoyed this year. Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them. Let me know if any of my favourites are your favourites too.

I am grateful, as always, to the authors, publishers and publicists who give me the opportunity to read so many wonderful books, often ahead of publication. It is a joy to share the pleasure I get from books and it’s always a delight to hear from people who have decided to buy a book after reading my thoughts. Remember, one of the best gifts you can give an author is to leave a review somewhere. It doesn’t have to be long like my blogposts are: just a few words saying what you enjoyed makes all the difference not only in making an author’s day, but also raising awareness of their work so that others might decide to read them too.

I don’t have any more posts scheduled now until the New Year so I’d like to wish all my blog followers a very Happy Christmas. I hope you get lots of lovely new books and some time to curl up and read them. See you in 2020!
