I was contacted recently by Cara Bentley from newly established Edinburgh independent publisher, Epoch Press. This publisher is definitely one which should be on your radar if you are a creative non-fiction writer as they are currently open for submissions for the debut issue of their Literary Journal. Over to Cara now to tell us more.
Epoch Press is a recently established independent publisher based in Edinburgh. We are dedicated to publishing creative nonfiction writing and art: Truth in Ink.
Epoch launched with the guiding goal of elevating and encouraging submissions from marginalised voices. We are committed to paying our authors and artists, do not charge a reading fee, and sponsor up to five charities with free advertising in each issue.
On the 1st of July we opened submissions for our debut issue, “Beginnings”. In order to print, package and ship 500 copies of this issue, which will be available internationally, we have today launched a Kickstarter campaign with a goal of raising £3000 by the 13th September. One week after launch, on 22nd of July, we will be releasing the cover art for this issue.
