Sometimes at this time of year it can be difficult to fit in time for reading a full length novel. If this is you, then this book which has six short stories in could be perfect. Isn’t that just a gorgeous cover? I’d love to be walking in the snow in that scene, so romantic.

The main story, A Diamond for Tiffany’s, will be very welcomed by readers of Melissa Hill’s earlier novel Something from Tiffany’s as it follows the characters from that book – Ethan and Gary and a few others. This is a novella length read taking place in the few days before Gary and Rachel’s fairytale wedding in New York. I don’t want to give anything away but as you might expect, things don’t go quite to plan! Although the wedding preparations are the focus, there is also another rather sweet romance taking place.

There are five other short stories to enjoy too. Tiffany’s also features in Fairy Tale on Fifth Avenue where a very special bracelet leads to a second chance at love for two lonely people. We stay in New York for Winter Wonderland where love at first sight is explored. I really enjoyed reading about the secret place where heartfelt letters were hidden in Lovelorn in Manhattan and how these letters were possibly going to lead to an unexpected meeting and who knows, maybe love too. A New York Christmas is another love at first sight story and there is a wonderful tour round the city at Christmas where well known sights sparkling with lights make the city seem magical. Another city well known for romance also features in the book when we take a trip to Italy to spend Winter in Venice where three couples discover the magic and romance of this grand old city. Winter in Venice was definitely my favourite story in the book, especially Lucy and Dominic’s story with the lovelocks – heart-meltingly romantic! Although Scott and Rachel’s story was just lovely too.

This is a charming and warm collection of stories, just right to read when time is short but you want a little festive romance. Let Melissa Hill take you on a trip to New York (and Venice) for a little Christmas magic
