Top Reads 2021 – July to September

Today I’m sharing my favourites books from July to September. Like most people, there were no exotic holidays again this year but we did have a couple of lovely short breaks in the beautiful Highlands and in my favourite area, Perthshire. Naturally, I had plenty of reading material with me and here are the ten books which I read during these three months which have made my Top Reads list. This includes one book that, if you really forced me to choose, I’d probably say is my book of the year – Of Stone and Sky by Merryn Glover. Click the title below each picture if you’d like to read my reviews.

Annie Stanley All At Sea by Sue Teddern

Home by Penny Parkes

The Lost Storyteller by Amanda Block

Of Stone & Sky by Merryn Glover

The Man Who Died Twice by Richard Osman

The Unexpected Love Story of Lexie Byrne by Caroline Grace-Cassidy

Emily Noble’s Disgrace by Mary Paulson-Ellis

Dear Reader by Cathy Rentzenbrink

The Miseducation of Evie Epworth by Matson Taylor

Nobody’s Perfect by Stephanie Butland

Did you get away on holiday anywhere this year? What was on your holiday reading list if you did? Have you read any of the books on my list above? Do let me know in the comments. Pop back next week after Christmas to find out my final selection for 2021. Hope you find lots of lovely new reading material under your Christmas tree!

  1. I loved ‘Evie’ so delighted to see it on your list. I also enjoyed Nobody’s Perfect. Seeing everybody starting to post their Top Read lists has made me think I’d better pull my finger out for mine!
