I was tagged by Joanna over on Instagram (JojosOverTheRainbowBlog) to take part in the book title challenge. I do love a book challenge but sometimes find it tricky to find books to fit each category as I don’t hang on to many books after I’ve read them. Also I read a lot on Kindle which doesn’t make for a great photo! Here are my choices for this challenge.
🔢 A Book With A Number In The Title
In a Thousand Different Ways by Cecelia Ahern
Cecelia Ahern is a favourite author of mine and this is her forthcoming release. It’s due out later this week and I’m going to be reading it soon.
📖 A Book With A Name In The Title
Emily Noble’s Disgrace by Mary Paulson-Ellis
This is the most recent book by this author featuring characters who deal with the dead who have no known relatives. This one is mostly set where I live in Portobello and I thought it was brilliant. (Review here)
🌍A Book With A Setting In The Title
A Fine House in Trinity by Lesley Kelly.
The author’s debut novel set in a posh suburb of Edinburgh. Loved this one! (Review here)
🐔A Book With An Animal In The Title
The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
I read this for a book group a few years back and didn’t like it at all I’m afraid. A bit of a marmite book I think!
🌈A Book With A Colour In The Title
Prussian Blue by Philip Kerr
I’m sure I’ve read many books with colours in the title but couldn’t find any! Raided my husband’s bookshelf for this one.
🖊️A Book With One Word In The Title
Taste by Stanley Tucci
One of my favourite reads this year. I really enjoyed this foodie memoir and have been enjoying Stanley Tucci’s TV show about Italian food too. (Review here)
I enjoyed doing this challenge and I have tagged a few people over on Instagram
who might want to join in but no pressure. And if you fancy giving it a go,
let me know what your choices would be.
I love this challenge. I might have to try it 🙂
