It’s almost time for this annual challenge run by Cathy at 746 Books. This year it takes place between Thursday 1st June and Friday 1st September 2023. I’ve participated before but not for a few years. This year, I’ve decided to take part again in an effort to make me read some of my own books and not be distracted by all the shiny new releases!
As Cathy explains, the rules are simple. Take the Books of Summer image, pick the 20 books you’d like to read and add your link to Cathy’s master post so she knows you’re taking part. You can choose to aim for 10 or 15 books instead.
I’ve chosen ten books from my Kindle and ten books from the toppling pile of physical copies I have. Some are new releases but others are books I’ve previously bought and not got around to. Let’s see if my good intentions work!
You can find my list below. Links from the titles will take you to the book description on Goodreads (or Amazon if there isn’t a GoodReads page). I’ll update them with links to my reviews when I’ve read them – if I remember!

The Girl on the 88 Bus by Freya Sampson
Unladylike Lessons in Love by Amita Murray

I’d love to know what your reading plans are for the next few months.
Let’s hope for some sunny days to read outside – happy reading everyone!
Great list Joanne! I’m very keen to read Other Women as I loved Flint’s previous novel, so look forward to hearing how you get on. Thanks for taking part again and best of luck!

Lots of fun choices here. If interested, here is mine though it cut off part of it (I’m working on that) https://hopewellslibraryoflife.wordpress.com/2023/05/12/20-books-of-summer-2023/
